Geoff Hansen has enjoyed using his camera since age 13 to photograph the joy and spontaneity of life — the common thread in his documentary photography.
Besides working as a photographer and editor at the Valley News in Lebanon, N.H., for 18 years, Hansen has had the privilege to photograph weddings since 1994. He has also been published in Newsweek, USA Today and the New York Times.
His photography has appeared in ten books, including the recently published Teach Yourself VISUALLY Quilting and Living with Pigs, to be in stores in June 2008. Hansen is currently doing photography for another quilting book and a book about raising chickens. Hansen also is a part-time Web designer — click here to see samples of his work.
He lives in central Vermont with his wife, daughter and two beagles.
